In a since-deleted lengthy Instagram post on Feb 10, the 40-year-old singer-songwriter shared one of her experiences at a controlled facility and said she had a cancer scare from being paralysed waist down due to her confinement.
Describing her forced four-month long stay at the treatment facility, she wrote, “I could only use my upper body because I had to sit in a chair eight hours a day and gave like eight gallons of blood every week!”

Spears expressed how extreme of a ‘treatment’ it was for someone just struggling with depression. “The only thing honestly disturbing about me is depression. But you don’t take people out of their homes for that!”
